3 Effective Way To Cure Ulcer While at Home
A stomach ulcer, also known as a Peptic ulcer is a medical condition where sores develop in the lining of the stomach or the small intestines. There are different causes of a stomach ulcer, but the most prominent among them is the H. Pylori bacteria. Whereas different causes may need different treatment methods, you can cure most stomach ulcers in the house. Today, I will talk about three of these methods.
1. Aloe Vera
Sabila, known to many as Aloe Vera, has many health benefits. First, cosmeticians use the plant to prepare skin- toning or blemish creams. It removes dead flesh on the skin, which makes the skin looks bright. Also, most people use it to treat burns on the body.
Another use of Aloe Vera that most people know nothing about is the treatment of ulcer. The plant is effective against most ulcers. Cut and soak the spongy leaves in water overnight. Drink it every two hours.
2. Avoid alcohol and Spices
Most stomach ulcers heal without treatment, but the patient must provide the condition necessary to trigger healing. Drinking alcohol and the intake of spices may worsen the condition. Also, fatty foods like fried rice and chicken, fizzy drinks, and products with caffeine should not be part of you.
3. Change Your Eating Habits
As said earlier, stomach ulcers may heal without treatment, but you must do your part. Most times, it is not what you eat but how you eat. Drink water a lot and check your eating pattern. Breakfast should be light food, with lunch and supper as heavy foods.
After 5 PM, you should take only light foods, and in case you eat heavy food, make sure you wait two hours before you go to bed. Also, avoid fatty foods in the evening. Palm and groundnut soups are best for lunch or supper before 5 PM.
Most people falsely believe that a stomach ulcer is uncurable, but you will soon realise the truth if you follow the steps above carefully. We should, however, note that the best person to see is the doctor.
